Adiós, Rosazea! Weniger Rötungen mittels Lasertherapie

Rosacea is a common skin disease that often causes redness and inflammation on the face. Although there are a number of treatment options, laser rosacea may be one of the best options.

Advantages of the rosacea laser treatment

Reduction of redness and inflammation: By using laser light, enlarged blood vessels can be specifically destroyed. This leads to a reduction in redness.

Improvement in the appearance of the skin: About a week after the treatment, the skin has recovered from the side effects of the laser treatment and is radiant.

Non-invasive method: Since rosacea laser treatment is a non-invasive method, it is quick and causes little pain.

Increase in self-confidence: People suffering from rosacea often retouch the redness on their faces with make-up. In some cases, after laser treatment, redness can be reduced so much that patients report no longer using concealer or foundation in everyday life for half a year. This saves time in the morning and increases self-esteem.

What should I consider in advance?

Timing: Ideally, you should plan rosacea laser treatment on a quiet day when there are no evening events planned. The skin may be slightly red on the day of treatment. It should also be noted that in the following days, crusts may form in the treated skin areas, which will heal on their own over the course of a week. In addition, laser treatment should not be scheduled shortly before a beach or summer vacation.

Lasting time: The laser treatment can alleviate the symptom of redness, but not the skin disease rosacea itself. Nonetheless, the effect can last for several months to years, depending on the individual’s condition and treatment plan.

Sun protection:  As with all laser treatments – consistent sun protection is the be-all and end-all!
