Preventative anti-wrinkle Botox injections

Botox remains one of the most popular aesthetic treatments for wrinkle treatment. Injections with botulinum toxin are ideal for treating forehead wrinkles, frown lines or crow’s feet. It is well known that wrinkles can be treated with Botox. But Botox can be used even more efficiently to prevent wrinkles.

When is the right time to start Botox treatments?

To avoid deeper wrinkles, it is recommended to start Botox treatments in your late twenties to early thirties. For example, in order to avoid a deeper frown line, which can no longer be treated with Botox at a later date, it should be treated as soon as it becomes visible.

How does botulinum toxin prevent wrinkles?

By injecting botulinum toxin, nerve signals that are responsible for the excessive tension of certain muscles and thus the formation of wrinkles are specifically blocked. The effects begin approximately 7 to 14 days after treatment. The muscles in the treated area relax and so does the skin above. To put it simply, it can be summarized: If the muscles in a certain area are largely constantly relaxed in young or middle age, wrinkles will not even form in these areas.

Botulinum toxin injections can also be used to reduce wrinkles, but are also particularly suitable for wrinkle prevention. If applied early, the formation of wrinkles can be largely avoided.
